A $300 fee is required for any ministerial wedding services and consultation. You may provide your own officiant. If you choose not to use Northbrae's minister, it will be helpful to you to arrange a visit to Northbrae to get instructions on facility usage. Northbrae doesn't provide a wedding director; you may provide your own director to organize the event and/or work with Northbrae's minister. If you are looking for a qualified person to help you plan your wedding, we can assist you in finding this person who may set his/her own rates apart from Northbrae's fees.
Musical Accompaniment Northbrae can usually provide an organist or pianist for your wedding. The fee should be negotiated directly with our music director Debra Golata. The fee is $250 for the first hour, and additional $100 for any time after that. This fee does include a free consultation about music requests. Background music begins 20 minutes before the wedding and as guests arrive. Prelude music is typically played as special relatives and featured guests arrive, leading to selected music for the attendants and bride's march. Service music includes music played during any specific ritual, solos, and/or recessional. There is no charge for special requests that need purchasing, provided it is available in sheet music. If you have soloists who need rehearsal time with our organist/pianist, a $75 rehearsal fee is collected. Note: although our organ is not available to guest organists, our Mason-Hamlin grand piano is available to a guest pianist. Northbrae soloists are generally available, and will be happy to consult with you regarding music. The soloist fee is $160.
Note: Both the ministerial and musical accompaniment services can be included in your advance payment to NCC for facility rental fees. Or you may pay these fees directly to the minister, music director, or soloists by cash or check on the day of the ceremony. Simply let the office know which method of payment you prefer.
Receptions and Kitchen Use Reservations for receptions should be made a the same time you reserve the Chapel for your wedding date and time. We have two rooms available for wedding receptions. The Parlor will accommodate 80 guests (60 if seated at tables) and Haver Hall can accommodate 250 guests (or 150 if seated at tables). The hours needed and facility rates should include all necessary set up and clean up time, and you are asked to stay within your reserved time frame, as Northbrae frequently schedules multiple events per day/night. Your caterer can use our kitchen as a staging point from which to serve. Use of the kitchen is included in your fee. There is an additional $75 fee if the oven, stove and/or dishwasher are used. We do not provide any table settings.
Pictures and Video You may take pictures with your photographer before or after the wedding in the chapel or elsewhere on the church grounds. You may also take pictures/video during the service.

Children older than six and young adults can be baptized after a family conversation with Reverend Burch.

The ministerial fee is $250.00 General facility rates apply to memorials, and payment may be given by the family as an in memoriam gift. Both our Parlor and HaverHall are frequently used for simple receptions that follow the service.
