Directions to Northbrae

Northbrae's main building, shown here, is where most meetings are held; the church office is located just inside the front door. Northbrae's Chapel, shown on our home page, is located on Los Angeles Avenue, behind the main building.  There is a parking lot behind the chapel as well as street parking.    

We can be reached via AC Transit line 7. You can also take BART and transfer to AC Transit line 7 at Downtown Berkeley or El Cerrito BART stations.  For general Bay Area transit info, see http://transit.511.org.

The clearest directions for out-of-town guests are:

Coming from the Freeway (I-80 or I-580): 

Exit Albany/Buchanan street and go up Buchanan street which changes to Marin Ave when it crosses San Pablo Ave. Go up Marin Ave about another mile until you reach The Alameda, where there will be a signal. Turn left onto the Alameda.  Go right at the next street which will be Los Angeles Ave. The chapel is on your left, the parking lot is behind it.

You may also exit University Ave in Berkeley and follow that east to Martin Luther King.  Turn left there, Martin Luther King will turn into The Alameda after about a mile.  The church will be on your right.
