A few years ago we purchased new hymnals. For a $25.00 donation, a beautiful bookplate will be placed inside the cover for you to give in honor of, in memory of, or in thanksgiving for a special person/persons or event.

The Local and Global Concerns focus group is gathering items
needed by youth at YEAH - Youth Engagement Advocacy and Housing
which is a seasonal transitional facility for youth ages 18 to
25 located in Berkeley. Services and programs serving
homeless youth are desperately needed. Needed
items are socks (good condition used OK) disposable razors and
underwear. There will be a special container in the Parlor
for several weeks or items can be dropped off in the church
office.

Do you have eyeglasses you no longer use? The Lions Club collects glasses, cleans them, sorts by prescription, and then they are dispensed by professionals free of charge to the needy in developing countries. Hearing aids are also collected for reuse. If you have any of these items bring them to the church office.
