Northbrae celebrated its Centennial year in 2014. We are a small, lively, and progressive non-denomination congregation in the historic Northbrae neighborhood of North Berkeley - located at the top of Solano Avenue on The Alameda, just outside the Northbrae Tunnel. We are committed to the interfaith tradition that has been a growing part of our history for many decades. Our identity and purpose are rooted in the progressive Christian tradition that leads us to reflect upon the life and teachings of Jesus. At the same time, our explorations are informed and inspired by the respectful study of world and indigenous religions. We welcome people of any religious tradition or of a secular spirituality to join with us in worship, fellowship, and in service to others. We strive to nurture spirituality in a contemporary setting, and to provide a place where people can find meaning, experience enjoyment, and feel support in navigating life's many and varied challenges. All lives affirmed; all people welcome.
