Monday Meditation During the Sheltering in Place

Every Monday at 5:00 p.m. join us in meditation wherever you are.  Try to meditate for at least 10 minutes on a thought; Compassion, Gratitude, Fear/Anger/Sadness, Focus and Stress Relief, a breathing practice.


Tuesday Morning Study group 

This study group is meeting on Zoom  They are reading Leaving Church , a Memoir of Faith, by Barbara Brown Taylor.  If you are interested in joining, contact Kathy Oldham at jkoldham@sbcglobal.net.  You do not need to have the book to participate.

Sunday Civic Conversations

What is this?  A vibrant group of persons gather to discuss the presidential campaign, learn about the constitution, review the history of the country's founders, and remain current with the general political tenor in the country.  This is a drop-in, non-partisan group of folks interested in keeping themselves informed.  All are welcome - bring a friend and join us on Zoom.  Contact Dianne McNenny for the link mcnennyd@aol.com.  ​

Write for Your Life Writing Group 

Write for Your Life is now meeting on Zoom three times a month; on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. and the 3rd Thursday at 3:00 p.m.  The aim of this group is spiritual growth and self-understanding.  At each meeting, a poem will be offered as a spark to personal writing and self-discovery. Sheltering in Place is an ideal time to reflect on questions we may be asking and/or on how our path may be unfolding.  This is an open, drop-in group.  The group is a confidential one which has developed a strong ethos of trust.  Email Elizabeth at eohutchins@gmail.com or call (510 527 1405) if you are interested or have questions.
