PEACE ON EARTH:   The service features congregational carols, solos, Christmas anthems, and the readings of Maya Angelou’s Amazing Peace: A Christmas Poem and the Christmas story from the gospel of Luke. The choir anthems are from Handel’s Messiah, and arrangements of traditional carols and a gospel piece. Solos will be O Holy Night, Benjamin Britten’s Corpus Christi Carol, Away in a Manger by Mark Hayes, and Norman Dello Joio’s A Christmas Carol.  Instruments are trumpet, flute and violin.
